We are Harvard: a multi award-winning agency for tech brands big and small. With services spanning creative and marketing, planning and PR, we help our clients make their move and our people make their mark.
We’ve grown phenomenally in the last few years to an 80+ strong business with global clients, and this expansion is set to continue. We are now looking for a Traffic Manager to join the team and build a career here.
About the role
Working closely with our Executive Creative Director and MD for our marketing division along with other department leads, this is a truly pivotal role. You’ll sit at the hub of the agency joining the dots between our client handlers and multi-disciplinary teams covering planning, editorial/content and creative services.
Responsible for planning and scheduling the day-to-day workflow across the agency, you’ll focus on improving the quality, efficiency and profitability of our work through making best use of everyone’s abilities – and managing freelance resource when required.
We have big ambitions and exciting plans for 2021, with even more integrated and creative campaign work to come, and you’ll be a key person in helping us achieve this.
At Harvard, we’re very proud of our people-first culture and are 100% committed to providing an environment where each-and-every employee feels empowered to be themselves and thrive every day. In February 2021 we were awarded The Blueprint Ally status – a diversity mark launched in June 2020 by BME PR Pros founder Elizabeth Bananuka – which we feel demonstrates our commitment to the positive D&I journey we are on. We would love for you to add to the tapestry that is our culture.
We provide all of the benefits you’d expect – profit-related pay, up to 5% matched pension, private medical insurance and structured training to help you develop and progress your career. We also have a few special perks to help our people get through these weird times, such as free (virtual for now) yoga, virtual gym membership, and full access to the mindfulness app Calm.
The day to day will be:
You’ll be managing the resource schedule and ensuring the agency workflow runs effectively avoiding downtime, thinking daily, weekly, and sometimes even further. Prioritising client requests from the PR and Marketing account handlers as well as Harvard’s own marketing and new business needs, to guarantee the team are working on the right briefs at the right time. You will need to ensure that each job is resourced effectively and profitably to reflect client budgets so that third-party costs are covered. And finally, the ECD and head of production will look to you for best practice when it comes to processes and the technology used by the team.
