If you’re interested in politics, you might have noticed recently that politicians in both the US and UK seem to have ratcheted up their rhetoric against China. It seems inevitable that we’re heading towards a new Cold War, where Western democracies will come into ideological conflict with an increasingly rich and powerful China.

This has big implications for the tech sector, because technology is a strategic lever in this struggle.
